Divinely Perfect Waterbirth

As I look back at my natural/unmedicated birth experience I am overwhelmed with gratitude. It was Divinely PERFECT. I have no one but God to thank for it all. He equipped me with the strength and team to help me achieve my desired experience. At the end of the day, all we can do is plan. This pregnancy journey has taught me that. To totally surrender to what is and what will be.

I’d taken Rene’s Natural Birth Series to better equip myself on the birthing process as well as to gain knowledge on exactly what I was getting myself into. I can’t say that in the moment I was able to apply all that I’d learned but it certainly helped me make well informed decisions on how to approach and execute my birth plan . It also helped me know my body and better asses when it was time to head to the hospital.

Although Rene’s role in my birth was small compared to my task at hand , it was VITALLY essential. She became that small voice of guidance, encouragement, and direction. For that I am eternally grateful. My water birth was calm and serene. She played a major role in making this all possible. From queuing me when to change positions to making sure the “stage was set” when I transitioned into the water. That gentle hand on my back giving me reassurance and reminding me that I am not alone.

And it’s true! Your body really does know exactly what to do. Our only job is to breath and not let fear and doubt take hold.... that’s where the magic is.

Yea, sure. Maybe I could’ve done it without Rene’ but after this experience I would never want to. Thank you Rene’ for being there for me.
