Natural Birth Series

Natural Birth Series is especially helpful for women interested in natural childbirth; however, the information is valuable for all birth experiences.  Rene' Johnson is an ICEA Certified Educator and DONA Certified Doula who has taught thousands of couples and provided doula support for more than 1100 families in Baton Rouge since 1980.  She presents in-depth knowledge, birth wisdom, practical experience, and a collaborative approach for creating your best birth.

This 4-part class, 3 hours per session, is limited to allow for discussion, activities, and personal attention.  Birth Help primarily offers in-person participation for Natural Birth Series. Virtual series are offered several times per year and are convenient for those living outside the Baton Rouge area or who prefer to participate in the comfort of their own home.

Class location: In-person sessions are held at Birth Center of Baton Rouge, 277 Rue de la Vie. When series have filled, a virtual option may be available via Zoom on Thursday evenings, 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Class fee: $300 for mom and one support person, includes class book and materials. Payments can be made through Zelle by using ‘doula@birthhelp.com’ or using the Paypal button below the registration form.

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy Rescheduling a class - Class participants must request rescheduling of classes by email using the Contact form. A rescheduling fee (NCB $40, CM $25, Private $40), must be paid in order to reschedule a class or series within 14 days before the beginning date of any class. "I had taken childbirth classes, read many books, and given birth 3 times when I attended Birth Help's classes.  I learned so much that I didn't know before, and that knowledge helped me have the natural childbirth experience I had dreamed of.”
